Sign up for our 2nd annual WVUSD Parent Symposium slated for Saturday, October 6 from 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Walnut High School.
Keynote speaker Paul Kanarek, co-founder of the California branch of The Princeton Review, is a nationally recognized expert in the fields of testing and college admissions. Paul’s passion lies in the opportunity to help families (from early elementary school to high school) genuinely find the right fit for college. He will be focusing on the parents’ perspective in regards to emotional intelligence versus intelligence quotient (EQ vs. IQ) and connecting both as elements to determining life success.
After the keynote, there will be two breakout sessions presented by WVUSD staff members and other experts in the field. The first break out session is from 9:45 a.m. -10:45 a.m. and the second one is from 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Please select one topic from session 1 and one topic from session 2. If more than one parent or guardian is attending, each parent or guardian needs to complete this registration form. Thank you.
