Welcome to 2016/2017 school year. This year is going to be filled with learning, fun, and progress.
My name is Linda Woods and I teach the ASD class. This is my eleventh year at Suzanne Middle School. I love teaching ASD students and all the exploring, learning, and fun we have on a daily basis.
I have a Master's degree in Special Education. My credentials include Education Specialist Mild/Moderate K-12, as well as, Moderate/Severe K-12. My degrees are a
Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in English and Human
Development with an emphasis in Sensory Motor Integration and Autism, both from Azusa Pacific University.
I grew up in Huntington Beach, California, and Sandpoint, Idaho, and I love to visit my dad and my younger brother in Idaho. My sister lives in Corona and I see her often. I have six adult children and nine grandchildren. We spend a lot of time together and we love to travel on vacation together. Daizy, our class yorkie is a reading therapy dog and she is eight years old.
We love to travel in our RV, ride in our Artic Cat (Miss Kitty), boating at Topock, and relax in Paso Robles. During the summer I am usually relaxing and having fun in the wilderness.
I can't wait to spend this next year learning and growing with you.
